1. Custom Quotes

Our pricing is highly customized based on the specific requirements of your project. To ensure you get the most accurate and competitive pricing, we consider factors such as:

  • Production Volume: Discounts available for higher quantities.
  • Material Selection: Choice of materials can impact cost.
  • Complexity of Design: Intricate designs may require additional tooling or specialized processes.
  • Lead Time: Expedited services are available for a premium.

Contact us today for a personalized quote. Our team will work closely with you to understand your project and provide a detailed breakdown of costs.

Example 1: A 100x100x20mm product machined out of aluminium will have a material cost of 60-70GBP depending on the market price of the chosen material at the time of ordering. For a simple geometry part the machining cost could be as low as 50GBP, but for more complex parts utilizing multiple setups, fixtures and endmills the cost could increase. The cost for larger orders drops as the size of the order increases. Shipping is handled by royal mail and can be as low as 10GBP for a metal part of that size. Total cost 120-250GBP

Example 2: A 100x100x20mm plastic prototype to be 3D Printed would cost 10GBP in materials depending on the material used. SLA can cost more than FDM especially for larger projects. The setup and machining costs can be as low as 30GBP depending on the geometry of the part. Total cost: 50-150GBP

Example 3: A 30X30X30mm injection moulded part can be made with various approaches. The materials used can be as low as 50GBP for production run of 500 parts. The moulding costs depend on the technology used for the mould and the surface finish required. An affordable mould of that size would cost 300GBP and would last <1000 parts. More expensive mould could be cheaper for larger quantities. Design, fabrication and setup fees for such an operation start at 50GBP. Total cost: 400-1000GBP

Example 4: A battery bank designed in CAD, with a PCB, soldering, component sourcing, prototyping, injection moulding and final assembly for 100 parts is something we can do. Prices for design work for a small project like this start at 70GBP depending on complexity and revisions. PCB work and sourcing from our partners would start at 100GBP + the cost of the components. Prototyping could be as low as 100GBP. Injection moulding could be as low as 400GBP. Total cost: 700-1500GBP

Example 5: A prototype designed, sourced and fabricated as a proof of concept for a food safe heating pad with a stainless steel surface and a plastic enclosure and tray. Design work for such prototypes involves purchasing multiple potential components and usually testing them to failiure. Prices can be as low as 300GBP for simple projects but can increase significantly. Sourcing and research for appropriate food safe materials can add to that cost. Fabrication of such a prototype could be as low as 400GBP and any design consultation would be charged on top of that at the current hourly rate of our designers. Total cost: 700-1500GBP

Please note that all example pricing is dependent on material costs, energy costs and availability of resources.
